5 Ways 5-HTP Helps You
September 16, 20225 Relax Tips for Fall
October 6, 20225 Ways to Focus • Full Spectrum
This week, we’re offering up 5 Ways to Focus • Full Spectrum. According to a Vice report, “… cannabis use could mitigate problems with inattention and lead to ‘enhanced driving-related performance.’ In other words, for some folks, cannabis slows down neural transmission, allowing them to Focus on one or two things rather than feeling overwhelmed.” This week we’re highlighting our Full Spectrum Focus Formulation. What is Full Spectrum? Full Spectrum means the product contains a whole plant experience. You receive the benefits of CBD, plus CBG, and THC and other cannabinoids. You also get dozens of other trace amounts of cannabinoids. CBG has been shown to possibly help improve brain activity. THC is the psychoactive ingredient found in the hemp plant. This can give users a “high” feeling. Lucky for you, our Focus Full Spectrum gummies contain small amounts of THC. While you may feel a “high” while taking our Full Spectrum gummies, it will be mild. That is, unless you take a ton of the gummies – which we do not recommend. If you’re looking for more of a high, then we recommend our Max Effect gummies! How does THC help you focus? Well that may be controversial. Not everyone can focus while consuming THC, that is true, however here are some tips when consuming our full spectrum products to keep in mind.
Focus on One Task
Our first of 5 Ways to Focus • Full Spectrum is too not take on a huge load. “This can probably be good advice even when you are not consuming THC, however especially when consuming THC – you should always try one task at a time. Some users say that when they become high they space out. This may be true, especially if you’re taking fat rips from a bong or 100’s of mg of edibles. It’s all about honing in, reminding yourself at the task at hand. You can make a list and the THC will give you a little boost. According to Mashable, “… cannabis could potentially increase focus on some tasks indirectly, for instance, by temporarily reducing physical or mental pain.” While taking THC and completing tasks isn’t for everyone, some users may feel that THC helps them focus by helping them with pain and other manageable circumstances.
Don’t Lose Your Focus
Look, sometime when we think about THC, we think it means stoned out of your mind, however that’s not always the case. Just like one may micro dose with psychedelic mushrooms, you can obviously do so with THC as well. Whenever you are putting a new active in your body it is always important for you to know how much you are putting in your system. We take the guess work out of portioning for you so that you don’t have to worry if you are putting too much or too less in your body. For example, our Regular Strength Full Spectrum Focus Gummies contain only 1mg of THC in every portion. That’s a very small amount of THC. We recommend taking one 1mg gummy and work from there. That way you can start to understand how your body reacts to THC. As always, if you’re trying to complete a task and would like a little boost from THC, then don’t take too much THC! If you dose yourself with too much THC, this is going to be a problem to focus. If you consume too much THC you will definitely become lethargic and your brain may wonder. Like we mentioned, it’s good to experiment with different amounts of THC to find out what is right for you.
Give your Focus a Boost
According to NIH, “THC is able to alter the functioning of the hippocampus and orbito frontal cortex, brain areas that enable a person to form new memories and shift his or her attentional focus.” Everyone you talk to will have a different opinion on taking THC for focusing. If you are trying to write a paper it may be a good idea to consume THC to come up with ideas. According to Leafly.com, “Leafly covered one such study in 2014; it concluded that when it comes to cannabis and creativity, dosage is key. The study found that in low doses (5.5 mg THC), cannabis slightly improved two aspects of divergent thinking: fluency, or the number of responses provided, and flexibility, or the variation in answers.” We’ve spoken about how portioning is key. To add to that, if you take too much THC you’re going to get lazy. Whereas if you take small amounts it can help boost your brain creatively. That’s why we like to say, come up with ideas while consuming THC and then edit your ideas when you’re sober. It’s really all about you and you trying out different amounts of THC.
Take Breaks to Refocus
If you do find yourself overdoing it with THC, we recommend taking a break from your work to let the effects wear off. Then you can get back to work. According to TalktoFrank.com, “Generally, the effect is strongest for about 10 minutes to half an hour after smoking cannabis, but if you smoke a lot, you may still feel stoned for a couple of hours. If you eat cannabis, the peak effects can last for 2 to 4 hours, and there may even be a few more hours before the effects wear off completely.” Once the effects have worn off, it’s time to focus again. THC and working is not for everyone, we want to make that very clear. Some people, while taking THC, immediately feel the psychological effects a lot and right away, this blog is not for you. Do not engage in consuming THC if you know it is detrimental to your work. If you find yourself becoming too zoned out or blasted out of your mind, take a break. There’s nothing but time that will make you less high.
You Know Your Focus Best
As mentioned throughout the blog, you know yourself better than anyone. You have to find out what works for you. Consuming THC and doing work is not for everyone, it may not even be for most people. However, there are some people that may find that consuming THC helps them with certain tasks. If you’re headed into a big presentation and want to focus, don’t take a a lot of THC, it just won’t work. Slowly increasing your focus + THC will help lead you to success. You know your body better than anyone. Be careful, be smart, and take every feeling into account when you are consuming THC. Again, most of our products contain CBD. Our Full Spectrum products contain CBD, THC, and other cannabinoids. If you’re looking for just CBD, be sure to check out our Pure Isolate products.
